Connect via MCP
The Whatnot Seller API has a hosted MCP server. Connect an MCP-compatible client to let it call the Seller API directly, using your own API token.
Server URL:
https://mcp.whatnot.com
When you connect, your client will prompt you to authenticate before it can make requests on your behalf.
Set up your client
Run the following command to add the Whatnot Seller API MCP server to Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http --client-id bb1bf1ca-0452-4737-ad8f-81175f1601b8 --callback-port 8080 whatnot https://mcp.whatnot.com
After you add the server, authenticate with:
claude /mcp
Add the following configuration to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in your project) to add the Whatnot Seller API MCP server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"whatnot-seller-api": {
"url": "https://mcp.whatnot.com",
"auth": {
"CLIENT_ID": "bb1bf1ca-0452-4737-ad8f-81175f1601b8"
